I'm starting to compile all the skins on the forums that way we have a quick and easy way to get all the skins. Some skins are missing due to the download link being broken or removed. 

 

I will continuously update and add more packs as new skins are created. All the skins created within the skin-pack date will be in the pack.

Install Instructions

Installing the skins is very simple.

 

Just copy and past the skins into their game-skin folder in the games directory.

Ex- Copy and paste the Bf109-F2 in the Bf109-f2 skin folder located in Windows(C;)> Program Files (86x)> Steam > steamapps> common> IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad> Data> graphics> skins> Bf109f2

Check Tactical Air War website, they have a skin pack section there

Some of those skins are horrendous. Not aesthetically, just built really bad. The La-5 pack has a prime example of what I mean. Some planes are flipped and rotated.

Sorry I didn't notice, I'll run through all of them and see if I can fix them. I didn't touch them or edit them at all, I just downloaded them and added them to the pack. I'll fix it. If this is my fault I apologize.

 

Edit: I went through all the skins in the La-5 pack and couldn't find the skin you are referring to. What is the name of the skin so I can fix it and update the pack.

ehi man, is not your fault at all and thank you for your work! La-5 skins are the only one with problems. Many of them are badly designed but at leat 60% are correct. Expecially "3-colors"  "524iap" and "kaberov" series have texture problems

I'll have a look at them, though theres not much I can do since I didn't create the skin. Some skins don't have alpha channels for some reason, they didn't come with one when I downloaded the skin.

 

Anyone know how to fix this?

 

If you find a skin that isn't working properly, you can pm me the names so I can remove them or try and get it working.

I checked the skins listed and I don't notice any problems, make sure you put them in the right skin folder. The skins you mentioned are LaGG 3 skins not La-5 skins.

 

The skin templates look similar so you need to make sure and put them in the correct skin folders.

I'll probably be adding more packs every month or so, that way there are enough skins to justify it. I don't really want to add a pack with only 2-3 skins in it, I'd like to wait till theres about 10 or more skins per pack if possible.

Thanks, and thanks to all the skinners who created the skins in the 1st place.

 

I've always enjoyed seeing players use custom skins in multiplayer, and I hope that by having all the skins in one easy to reach place that it will become more popular for players to use custom skins.

 

Also, if anyone would like to have a custom skin in multiplayer just pm me the details and I'll create it for you.

I'll also update it with victory marks every-time you get a kill or come back from a bomb run but you have to have proof of course.

 

If your interested just let me know.

That is why those skin pack are very neat , because If we download all of them, we can see custom skin of other players in game!
