Very nice indeed, hard to beat the Crosswinds!

Interesting that you day your x55 twist was too loose. Mine is very very stiff. I can wobble my plane back and forth with about a 1mm of pressure.

Maybe I have a different revision.

I bought mine very close to release. I may have pre ordered it (cant remember anymore).

The default was pointing slightly left, and i had to create a faily big deadzone. It became practically useless other than to taxi.

If you get two units by instead of one by accident, just send me the extra. I won't mind.

Nice! Did you get an ETA?

Mine is flying across the Atlantic right now. Im crossing my fingers for a weekend delivery by Saturday. No ETA in the tracking page though.

No ETA. Mine are currently in France somewhere.

Yours arrive?

Expecting mine to take another week.

Mine made it to NY and now in transit. I'm assuming they'll be here tomorrow or Tuesday.

My Paris and NYC layovers took really long, maybe customs was checking the package

I looked back at my order.  Mine took 10 days total to be delivered.

My tracking says it's still in NY but the pedals are already under my desk! very happy so far!

So I would expect the package to get to you sooner than the DPD page says.

Cool, that might be my second unit.

S/N 0240 and still loving them. One of best flight Sim purchases that I've made.

My takeoffs and landings are so much smoother, the tight turn maneuvers in air are also a lot better (i can apply slight rudder input instead of sudden changes with twist).

Im still trying to get used to the taxiing though.

MIne should be here tomorrow as well..just about ready to get back in to flying" pixels version"

Shouldn't they be under your feet?

Couldn't resist..... :)

Just pulled the trigger as well - my Saitek Combat Pedals gave up on the left toe brake (warranty void for one month .. lol).

First sentence on their warranty page sounds like a joke ..

When you purchase from Mad Catz, you purchase quality.

I´ve opened the pedals but couldn´t find any obvious errors in wiring / hardware so my guess is that the potentiometer is faulty.

I´m eager awaiting my graphite Crosswinds now :)

Check the thick wires/cables that run from the toe brake to the center of the pedals, if they are like mine (and many others from my searching through forums and fixes) - one of the cables will be cut due to stupid design.

Not obvious at first glance as from memory they are hidden/held in place by some tape.

I managed to reroute the cable then solder the wires back together - so the toe brake works again but as my crosswinds should be here tomorrow they won't be required for much longer. Upgraded even though the Saitek's were working.

Have been flying with one toe pedal for a year now, and also rubberbands around the joystick. just of got used to it. I just try not to think about how it looks...but I am building new pedals out of spare car parts! Edited by Smok

Well, I just had these for a couple of days, but they scream quality.

Based on feedback from other members, I expect these pedals to last me for years.

They also look like you could easily replace some parts without sending the whole thing back, which is good.

One little thing to you may wish to do.  After a week or so take the allen wrench and re-tighten any bolts that need it.  You may need to recheck again in a month or so.

Thanks for the tip!

Mine have arrived. So smooth, I can now input a small amount of rudder without the stickiness/inconsistency in the Saiteks. Only complaint would be tipping if you leave one foot on the pedals if they sit on the floor. Im getting more used to this after just one evening with them now, but might mount them to a wooden board to prevent this in the future.

I´ve just assembled mine - what a joy after the Saitek pedals.

Unbelievable how big a difference there is - I already love the MFGs!

Got mines last week but I made the stupid mistake of telling my wife they were for Christmas. Now she doesn´t let me change my mind.

Just got mine today and they feel like very high quality and precise pedals. The new black design looks very cool too. These are my first pedals ever and i tried them quickly and the flying felt very weird since im used to control my rudder by twisting my hand, not using my legs :) Next on the shopping list is Wheel Stand Pro for my Crosswinds and Hotas Warthog. I already ordered the Warthog adapter for it.

Nice choice for your first pedals, congrats!

I have been running my Crosswinds for 1 year now and they are incredible.

Finally Christmas came (and in Spain are the three wise men who give the present on January 6th).

I opened them today and set the up. So far only a couple of flights and still quite used to the old ones but the diference in precision is huge.

Very easily assembled and more easier to calibrate them. Working without a flaw so far.

Very happy with them.
