Unable to open a .mission file with the STeditor .

Hello , 

 

Everything is in title .I did manage to host mission (thx to the shared mission topic ) for friends, we live in south pacific so not many people online in our fuse time.

 

Dserver works perfectly but when i want to modify an existing multiplayer  mission with Steditor i select open ...\multiplayer \.mission file not msbin as advised i have the message error loading mission ..

 

Someone can help ?

What kind of error message do you have ?

Can you post a screenshot ?

Try this: In the Tools menu, choose "Resave All Missions in a Folder", and navigate to the folder where your mission is located.

You must have tried to edit an old mission made with a previous version of the game

The resaver is done for that purpose ... save the older versions of your missions in the current one

You can also delete the msnbin. The opening will take more time but it works too. As soon you save the mission, the msnbin will be created.
