Remontti Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) I'm at loss here. I replaced my Saitek x52 pro joystick with Gladiator pro, but I left Saiteks throttle unit. For some reason the throttle units buttons are no longer programmable with Saiteks software and mousestick no longer move cursor in windows nor in BoS. So far I have tried: -remove x52 along with drivers in device manager -remove Program support entries (aka virtual keyboard and mouse for x52) in device manager -uninstall saitek software -unplug joystick -delete x52s entries from registery then reboot, install drivers, plug throttle and install software. If I test throttles buttons and ministick in Control panel they all work. The ministick movement and bindings just won't translate to mouse movement and keyboard presses. Any ideas? EDIT: If I plug the x52 joystick back to throttle everything works fine. I wonder if there is a way to make it work without having the x52 joystick plugged in. Edited September 11, 2016 by Remontti
Sokol1 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) I know this way - done be Bearcat. "Honey, I shrunk my stick!" Looks like the software need see all buttons (stick and throttle) to be able to programming. You try, connect the stick, make the profile and disconnect the stick to see inf throttle work standalone, but retaining the programming? Depends on what you want do, can use 3rd part key mappers (Autohotkey, Joy2Key, Xpadder... they have axis2buttons function). Same issue there: http://forum.il2sturmovik.ru/topic/4810-soft-dlya-programmirovaniya-sajtek-52-storonnij/ Edited September 12, 2016 by Sokol1
Remontti Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 Thanks for the tip Sokol. That gave me an idea and it worked! I removed this part from the joystick and plugged it into throttle. Works great!
Sokol1 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 LOL. You "shrunk" more the X-52 than Bearcat.
