[BLIN]ShashlikMcBlin Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Hi guys, I'm fairly new to this game and I've started practicing with the Bf 109 F-4. I only have one question: how can I compensate the powerful engine that tends to make my aircraft go left? Is there any trim or stabilizer like the adjustable stabilizer that helps me with mantaining altitude? Thanks in advance!
GridiroN Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) negative adjustable stabilizer that trims up will cause the plane to torque left strongly. All planes will torque in the direction of their RPM at level flight to some extent. Edited September 11, 2016 by GridiroN 1
[BLIN]ShashlikMcBlin Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 Is there any way to partially prevent this? I usually hit the rudder a bit but I don't think that this is the solution
=EXPEND=Tripwire Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) I usually hit the rudder a bit but I don't think that this is the solution Indeed it is. Your going to need to work on those leg muscles. No trim options available to help. Its set for cruise speed by ground crew with no adjustments available inflight. I usually hit the rudder a bit but I don't think that this is the solution No. The BF109 is not as bad as other planes. I don't know how you're experiencing it but it shouldn't be a big deal. If you're flying long distances, I use auto-level because that's what it's there for. I use my stick when I'm not flying straight for dozens of kilometers. Edited September 11, 2016 by GridiroN 1
