Luft1942 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Just curious to see the age group of most of us flight simmers out here. I'm 22 and haven't been playing flight Sims since I was 10 years old starting with Jane's Combat Simulator WW2 fighters :D
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 It's a secret. If you have my age you could look up all of my warrants. Nice try. Damn Bounty Hunters!

unreasonable Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I think there might have been a poll on this topic at some stage? If not, that is your best bet of getting the information you desire. 1
Mastermariner Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I think a fairer question would be;” how old would you be if you didn’t know?” Master
ST_ami7b5 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 So old that I don't quite remember how old I really am... OK, about 3 times your age but young at heart
Lusekofte Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I am 50 years old, based on other sites I am about average age.
DD_Crash Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I am old enough to know better (but I dont)
Rjel Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Older than yesterday but younger than tomorrow. I have that in common with a lot of guys here.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 (edited) Forums can be pretty stuffy sometimes. Glad we all took this so seriously. Edited September 11, 2016 by II/JG17_HerrMurf
-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I'm not that old but I do remember dirt being invented and my cousin inventing the wheel. We all told him it would never go any where .... Chief 3
Vig Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 64. Hard to dogfight with those whippersnappers with their good eyes; that's why I like the attack planes. 1
Firestorm07 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 '43. Like when the Kuban battle took place,
No_85_Gramps Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 64. Hard to dogfight with those whippersnappers with their good eyes; that's why I like the attack planes. +1 (as of this Dec)
GrendelsDad Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I am 40...and I have 4 kids who have aged me 5 years extra per child so I am old years old.
Luft1942 Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 Thank you everyone for your responses! I am glad to be apart of a mature community where we can all respect each other I didn't think too many young people were into serious flight sims as I think they like to stick to the more arcadey games like War Thunder.
Cybermat47 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 17... and getting my ass kicked in MP. Seems that experience wins the day
II/JG11_ATLAN_VR Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 61, too old to rockn´roll too young to die
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 24 Really? You argue pretty skillfully (elsewhere in these forums). I had you in your early 40's in my head.
Uufflakke Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) I notice I have the same age as one of the members above. Am I thát old already... the thing is that when i started with the forums i was 26 ive knowm some people here as bearcat or uuflake or feather for that long, as a matter of fact some of the people who best know me hang around this forum Yeah, the same names I know from good old Ubi (2007 I jumped aboard) I see around here indeed. Sometimes I wonder what happened with the other Ubi guys and galls. Are they still in flight sim business? Or not and have they grown up finally? Or are they still around here but with another nickname. 'Cause it was all too embarrassing at UbiZoo? Remember the UbiZoo Mugshot Poster I made? You are there too. And Bearcat. And me too. image hosting 10mb limit Edited September 16, 2016 by Uufflakke 2
Jirokoh Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 20! And I also get my ass kicked in multi, when I don't just blow myself up on my own
Goanna1 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) 62 recently and my body shows all those years of life experience (read accidents, illness, operations etc here) but mindset wise I am afraid I seem to have never "Grown Up" and still feel and act (as my 20 yr old daughter says) about 22. Goanna1 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 61, too old to rockn´roll too young to die You're never too old to Rocn'N'Roll look at the Stones and all the comeback '70s bands still rocking their and the younger crews socks off!
Buglord Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 LOL im in there as well... I notice I have the same age as one of the members above. Am I thát old already... Luft1942 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 You're never too old to Rocn'N'Roll look at the Stones and all the comeback '70s bands still rocking their and the younger crews socks off! Long live Rock 'n' Roll man! Ever since I was a young boy I've loved classic rock and will never grow tired of it. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors and the list goes on. You name the band and I've listened to them. It was hard finding people who even knee about these bands when I was in school because everyone was so caught up in rap music. Very few people I know in my generation know what good music is and it's a crying shame.

No way is Cybermat47 17. Given his maturity in dealing with assorted trolls, I would say that he is actually 47, about average for the forum members who behave like..... oh wait.... 1
SYN_Mike77 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 If I was still coaching debate at the college I teach at, I'd be throwing some scholarship money at Cyber right now

Lusekofte Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 64. Hard to dogfight with those whippersnappers with their good eyes; that's why I like the attack planes. True, I have noticed I lost my aggression in the first place , next point is the motivation to keep dogfighting. I read many biography from pilots, also interviews and all of them started to wish it over no matter the result before 3 minute was gone. And that is what I feel after 1 minute. Another thing is the reflexes and deflection shooting, I never seems to get it right in this game, I could like many blame the game, but I think it is me

=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I'm 24, no idea if thats good or bad. Sometimes I'd like to be half that age and sometimes twice as old.
Stig Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Damn it, at 52 I thought was among the younger participants 2
unreasonable Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 You may well be - I will be 60 in three weeks, and I am not looking forward to it at all.
