E4GLEyE Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Sooo... just started flying the Rata... and i love her but on all my takeoffs when i reach the speed to rotate... i hear something (from the right side of the craft) Break off... I cant see anything behind me on the ground, I don't notice anything being off while flying afterwards... and cant look at it form the outside as of expert mode :D ... so the question is, what do I leave behind and anyone else had this or its me screwing up this little plane?
E4GLEyE Posted September 9, 2016 Author Posted September 9, 2016 OMG ummm well thats good to know that it ... had a door :D
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I cant wait for this: "Honey, dont forget to close the door !"
-=PHX=-SuperEtendard Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Almost impossible to bail out at high speed? :S
Jade_Monkey Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Hahaha it happens 50% of the time. They are out of the way, i always forget they exist. You have to hit the close canopy button like with the other planes. 1
manitouguy Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I had it happen the other night AND my doors were closed ... So I was wondering what it might be - random sound glitch - I had no notes of plane damage come up either?.
69th_chuter Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 I cant wait for this: "Honey, dont forget to close the door !" Nice pic. Having actually sat in a P-39 I can say that there's no way I would ever bother trying to get in/out through the left door. The cockpit is rather -->snug<-- for me (6 foot and 215 lbs) and the throttle quadrant extends into the doorway several inches at the upper door hinge blocking my left knee from swinging out. I guess there's a reason you see pilots almost always on the right wing - lol.
