Teamspeak Q & A with Jason Saturday Sept. 10 at 11am PST.

Everyone,

In my pledge to be be open and transparent about our progress I will try to host semi-regular Teamspeak Q & A sessions. I did a couple previously for BOS and they were fun and informative. I am sick of typing and sometimes I just prefer to talk. My goal is to give the community some context as to what we are doing and why.

I will hold my first one tomorrow Saturday Sept. 10, 2016 at 11am PST on the official Teamspeak server.

I know this is short notice so if you can't make it no worries, I'll have more than one as we go. I'll also do them for the Russian community as well in the future with Han and Sneaksie.

The Rules:
1. Turn off your notifications in TS.

2. Mute your Mic before joining or right as you join.

3. Set your TS to Push To Talk so there are no open Mics.

4. Stay quiet until called upon so there are no annoying interruptions.

5. Please be polite and considerate. This is not a complaint session. If people want to be rude I won't do these events.

Our TS server holds 250 people. Don't think we'll fill it up, but that's the limit.

See you then!

I will not be writing a transcript. Someone else can or record it if they want.

It could be interesting. ^_^

Cool! I might be able to make it.

Can we submit questions in advance?

I'm not answering pre-submitted questions. I will be calling on users at random who show and interest in asking a question. If you don't speak English very well, that's ok just do your best.

Hi jason,

Although a Q&A in Teamspeak is a great thing, any chance you'd be willing to do an AMA over at https://www.reddit.com/r/battleofstalingrad/ ?

I hope this event is great, and I really hope someone has the patience for a transcript for those of us who can't be present :P

I would be open to an AMA at Reddit, but the Reddit community has burned me in the past so I am not really that eager, but I am open to it. Not sure how to organize it, but if someone sends me an invite and details I'll probably do it.

Can't say for sure if i will be there, but most likely. I will do a (summarized) transcript then, if you agree to it Jason. Can also send it to you before publishing it in the Forum.

Jason

thanks. The Reddit community can be a bit toxic at times, however the AMA format could bring something new to the table.  let's see if something good comes out of it.

Guys,

I don't want to be involved in any transcript. I trust users will keep it accurate. I have too much to do. As far as I am concerned this is just a friendly chat. I don't think any big news will be broken during this. There are simply too many questions to answer by typing.

easiest way would be to record it and put it somewhere for others to listen to :) maybe someone can do that, can't make it neither.

PST means Pacific Standard Time

Check your time difference guys!

For your reference it's 8:30am here in CA. Maybe I should have said PDT since it's summer time. so 2.5 hours to go yet.

I won't make it in time, only half an hour later (if this chat is still ongoing then). So no transcript by myself unfortunately

I hope that someone will register the event and upload the sound file.

Wow!  Really interesting.  Three hours - thank you very much for your time Jason.  A good turn out from the community too.

One thing to really note;  the commercial realities of creating a combat flight sim in todays market are not for the faint-hearted.

Salute Jason and the team.

Don't want a full transcript but If someone can summarize or post bullet points that would be great.
