Unselectable paint schemes?

Hi all - haven't found reference to this in the forum, but with the Lagg and 109, there are skins i can't select from the list - I get a message box saying something about those paint schemes not being compatible with Mods Off. I can't find and reference to mods on or off in the sim settings and wonder if this is a normal thing in the Alpha, or do I need to change a setting somewhere?

I saw something about restoring to default settings if you have problems with skin settings. I don't recall the thread, sorry. I'd back up your control files etc beforehand if you do so though. It'd be a shame to lose them.

It depends on the date of purchase of the game: Pre-order FAQ

Pre-order before October 1st - unique skins for LaGG-3 and Bf 109 F-4

If you bought the game after October 1st, these skins will not be available for you. Also gift skins have been temporarily removed from the list in the current version.

I pre-ordered before October 1st and I do not have the skin for the 109 The ace of diamonds one.

The gift skins have been temporarily removed from the list in the current version.
