fess67 Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hi, Flown Air Warrior, WW2OL, Fighter Ace, Aces High II and now the train wreck that is Aces High III Looking for a new home but I am having an issue with controller bounce / lag / over correction. my input seems very delayed and that is causing me issues. I am also testing out DCS and the issue is not present there. A simple example is I engage the enemy (off line mission stuff) and I bank left, plane does not react instantly....maybe .3 of a second later. Then when I line up on a con it is hard to aim as it is bouncing all over - of course because I am trying to adjust for the delayed input. Any settings I need to look at?
Asgar Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 (edited) have you tried adjusting your curves? maybe playing around with them a little could have a positive effect.i myself never had such problems Edited September 8, 2016 by 6./ZG26_Asgar
fess67 Posted September 8, 2016 Author Posted September 8, 2016 Warthog. Noise setting at 0. ( I am not really sure what the noise setting is, I assumed it was a damping type control so I left it a 0) Running the game on a pretty high end rig and framerates are not an issue, have not tagged them in here but running AHIII at 144 pretty solid and as I say, DCS input is as smooth as I can hope for. Thanks for getting back to me, I am in Australia and it would usually take 10 - 12 hours for a response on a forum
Asgar Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 i'm using the Warthog and i have to say i never experienced this. but i'm using some curves. if you want i can send you the profile and you can test it
wtornado Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Are you running Win 10 and your updates are all done? If so recheck you stick calibration in Win 10. Win 10 and BOS do some weird stuff together when there are some updates.
Asgar Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 every windows does weird things with Joysticks
ShamrockOneFive Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Joysticks do weird things with Windows too :D Can't say I've experienced input lag. Definitely an odd bit of business... You could try the support line for the game. They may be able to help you. Have you tried something that seems completely unrelated but seems to solve problems by changing the game from Full Screen to Windowed mode (It will functionally look the same)?
