Riderocket Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I had IL-2 1946 on CD, and i bought it on steam, installed HSFX 7.0.3. Now i'm wondering is there a dynamic campaign based in the battle of Britain that i can download somewhere? I have looked and looked and cant find anything.
Cybermat47 Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 No cynamic campaign that I know of for the BoB in 1946. The closest thing I can think of would be the Desastersoft campaigns for CloD, which are pretty much static campaigns with some career mode aspects (i.e. victory records, medals, you miss missions if you get wounded, it stops when you die, etc). There's also a mission generator in the Team Fusion mod. Someone apparently made a dynamic campaign for a Spitfire squadron, but the download links never worked for me. If those aren't good enough, then don't look to CloD for your solution, because other than those, I don't know of any dynamic campaigns/careers for the BoB in the IL-2 series - honestly, it's the most dissapointing part of CloD for me. I was a lot less mature when I first got the game (I must've been 13 or something, maybe even younger), and I actually cried when I realised there was no career mode. Yes, really, I was that sort of kid back then PWCG for CloD would be awesome, but I highly doubt we'll ever get it, seeing as it's a completely different game engine than what current PWCG versions are designed to work with.
Pail Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) These 2 are the only HSFX Battle of Britain campaigns that I know of (but they are not "dynamic campaigns"). Quite fun though. The Long Days of The Eagles (Battle over Britain) http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=1910 Fighter Boys - A Spitfire Squadron in August 1940 http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=326 ....If they are the sort of thing you are looking for. ie spitfires... VBF-12_Stele Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Found a link from 2010, where someone made a DCG for Battle of Britain using Lowengrin's DCG program. Lowengrin's site is no longer up, but you can still get the program here: http://forum.jg1.org/forum/8-lowengrins-dynamic-campaign-generators-dcg-for-il-2-cfs2/ Battle of Britain here: http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=7407.0 1
453=SGII_Wotan Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Hi Go to the Axis & Allies Paint works website, look for Boelckes made in Germany section. He has done a dynamic campaign covering BoB to Operation Market Garden in 1944. The campaign is dynamic and specifically for HSFX
wtornado Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) Just put the BOB missions or any of my coop missions in coop folder and open them as if you are starting a coop. All of the missions AI are fully functional with objectives and waypoint with targets and Historical briefings you can play them as a single player or with friends, mission and choose any plane in the coop mission. HSFX the latest version too I forgot to mention. http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&c=122 Battle of Britain one as an example. http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=2278 Edited March 5, 2017 by WTornado
