=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I wonder, did you basically plug&play Gladiator or messed with drivers or adjusted anything in games (sensitivity in particular) ?
Luft1942 Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 I wonder, did you basically plug&play Gladiator or messed with drivers or adjusted anything in games (sensitivity in particular) ? Plug 'n' play The only thing I recommend you do is download Wizzo which VKB's configuration software and changed the yaw deadzone to zero.
Remontti Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 My Gladiator pro box did not include a manual. Should there be one?
J37_Spyboy Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Now I want to link T Rudder Mk 3 to 'standard' Gladiator(anything but standard btw) so plug into the property port on Glad, go to aircraft settings , highlight yaw, move pedals left then right, box illuminates joystick number hit apply, and good to go? Except rudder only turns left no right hand response. Hmm what's wrong techmates?

J37_Spyboy Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Thanks Sokol1, do I use Wizzo for recalibration?
Sokol1 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 WIZZO or VKB Config Software. Last version there: http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/ 1
Remontti Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Not ready, use the "Unofficial" (based on AIRROW): Ok thanks. I was expecting some kind of instructions for those replacement cams and springs. But I found the youtube instruction video and changed my springs to stiffer ones (blue). I got to say that now it feels perfect.
J37_Spyboy Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Thanks for the link again Sokol1, I got Wizzo up and running then pushed start in calibration and it said calibrating, does it take long? The buttons illuminate like your picture so something must be right. Its just it still says calibrating and has done in the time its taken to type this and I aint a fast typist!, the red mode light is still blinking though.
J37_Spyboy Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Ok I think that's done it! BIG Thanks to all my Russian techmates for the help, and can I echo the OP its like starting again, and that is just in RoF so IL2 BoS/BoM are going to be a real challenge.
J37_Spyboy Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) What would be useful I feel is some English instructions to use Wizzo. I said before that these are fantastically well engineered products, or so they seem, but its difficult to source the correct software let alone how to implement once you find it. The guides and links that have been posted all over these pages don't always register and I had to have 2 goes at D/Loading Wizzo before Sokol1 steered me in the right direction. Big thanks to him. Perhaps a link on Stratojet's page with a brief how to guide, may be helpful to others, its not like Jason has got anything else to do is it? ( That was a joke JW) I appreciate all you are doing and have done to bring these products and sims to the market place. Plus the communication, a 3hr Q&A is unheard of!! Salute Edit:- I just looked at Stratojet Website and found the relevant Wizzo Manual link, Apologies Jason, Still friends? Course we are! Edited September 15, 2016 by Spyboy

Salute I don't know if we downloaded Wizzo from same place but there is English manual with the Wizzo program. I got mine from here http://www.gostratojet.com/Downloads/VKB_WIZZO_Utility.zip
=362nd_FS=Hiromachi Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Is there a way to soften roll axis ? I really appreciate the pitch axis, its great for flying but the same "stiffening" when reaching maximum deflections at roll axis is not that great, I want for roll full and rapid deflections and noticed that at times that heavy limits make it hard to make rapid direction switches/reversals. Edited September 14, 2016 by =LD=Hiromachi
Sokol1 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Assuming that you are talking about the PRO version. This "stiffening" is CAM characteristic, their profile angle increase to make need more the force near extreme inclinations... for please VirPilov's "Quest for the Feel Simulator". Since the CAM 10 is the less stiff and came installed, what you can do is try the less stiff spring - if are not already using that. Is not the case, but if want can mix CAM's, 10 in aileron, 30 in elevator, different springs in each... The CAM flexibility. EDIT - I don't see description for Gladiator PRO, but for Black Mamba (same gimbal) the springs are color coded (dot in bag) in this way: From weak to strong: White - 3 pcs in bag Yellow - 1 pc (2pcs already installed in gimbal) Green - 3 pcs Blue - 3 pcs Black - 3 pcs (only for extension or Warthog Adaptor) In the video about CAM change, are a bag of springs with Blue dot - probable the one that came with stick is the Yellow Edited September 15, 2016 by Sokol1
