Gambit21 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Hey guys, I'm going to make a German ambulance so that it can be used in my upcoming Ju52 campaign. I'm an experienced (and skilled) modeler and texture artist, so a low res model like this especially is no problem. I would like some reference however as to how much resolution you expect in these models to get them to play well with your engine. Even a screen grab of a truck mesh would be fine, an actual mesh would be better but I understand if that's not possible right now. If not, I'll best guess based on what I can see in the game itself. My hope is that I can get you a mesh/texture and you can implement in an upcoming update when time allows. I can just make it, and remove resolution later if necessary as well, however I would like to see what kind of meshes you expect if possible. Best Jim
Juri_JS Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 You should send the devs a PM if you have plans to create objects for the game. I think the team members with the necessary knowledge rarely read this part of the forum.
No601_Prangster Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Well the models should be similar to those for Rise of Flight. There is an SDK from the Devs here: http://riseofflight.com/forum/topic/31847-rof-buildings-and-blocks-sdk-available/?hl=+buildings The actual link is dead but it available here: http://riseofflight.com/forum/topic/31847-rof-buildings-and-blocks-sdk-available/?p=666462
Gambit21 Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 Thanks guys...I'll look through that and see if I can find any vehicles. Jason is aware of what I'm doing, but I'm trying not to bug him with this right now, he has enough on his plate without messing with me at the moment. If there's another particular Dev you know of that I should ping, please let me know. Otherwise I'll just build and thing.
