Bouncy Lagg's

Some people have remarked about the Lagg's tendency to bounce on landing.  I have a quote, although attributed to the La-5, but given the lineage maybe attributable to the 3 as well ?

 

"and every landing was an almost uncontrolled arrival marked by prolonged bouncing.  Pilots with the nerve to let the bounces subside survived: those who added throttle crashed inverted."

Devs have fine tuned the landing bounces in this update. Didn't see the change list, but it has to be.

Nice work by the way, because original boucing was overdone imo!

Now it feels more natural

I don't think they made any changes to it tbh. We are more practiced now is all. And if what the OP said about the LaGG is true, then yeah, it's well modeled. I can't not bounce the thing, but I can land it safely by simply riding out the bounces. May not be pretty, but it does work. I have managed a few bounceless 109 landings so far. Typically bounce a little, but nothing too extreme. The tail wheel still pops randomly on both planes though.
