How to perfect bombing a moving tank

I have tried knocking out moving German tanks with 1 250 Kg bomb and after dozens of tries I got only one kill.

It seems only possible to drop the bomb from height and see it explode. Often the bomb hits the ground but no kaaaaboom.

When at that height its almost impossible to spot the tank.

 

At least in the stuka you can get close with the big wing cannon.and plant a few shells on the tank.

 

Anyone had any luck or tips.  There is an old video around from 1946 days but I think the method  does not work with the way BoS is simulated ( Maybe more sophisticated with the fuse arming )

Use a 5s delay to make sure you get an explosion after a low altitude drop. You have to anticipate the movement of the tank. Works well with AIs, not so well with humans if they are paying attention.
