Jason, just knowing there is a new "roadmap" for the future has been a great thing for me, the guys I fly with, and for a big part of the player base in general I suspect.

 

No matter where the next step is, I'm viewing it as the first step down a road that will be good for the whole genre.

 

Don't let 'em get you down.   

 

I think most would agree there hasn't been this much excitement and honest enthusiasm on this forum since the earliest days after the announcement of BoS. There are a few naysayers still but overall I think everyone is very eager. If there is disappointment with what the next theater is, I agree it will be tempered with the knowledge of what will follow. I truly am on edge for the "what's coming next" post, more than I would have expected to be.

Poor people? This stuff is awesome no matter what your financial status. Get some sourdough bread, cheese(I prefer swiss or american), bacon spam, fry it all up in a skillet and you have a hell of a sandwich.

You can think about it as real war. First you were sent to Stalingrad winter campaign. Then your unit stayed on that front until summer. After Stalingrad some of you were transffered to Moscow theater, others remained on Stalins city. Now there is a lot of rumours about new orders coming through.

 

Soon you can be transferred again or stay on the same battle. You are only a pilot and you don't know where you can be sent next. Fighting or dying on your current or next assignment are your only options. Choosing where generals will attack next is not up to you.

 

War is hell. Enjoy it until it is your time to go down in flames.

I wouldn't mind Kuban if we get the Me 210. It's one of the most beautiful German designs of the war in my opinion

it would also be awesome to see modification for existing planes, like Stuvi for Ju-87 and Ju-88. or the fixed 20mm cannon in place of the bomb sight for the Ju-88

they just have to add the Hungarian version which were basically Me 410. 2 500kg bombs in the internal bomb bay combined with great speed.

I have noticed you had some trouble on understanding words, so let's make it clear.

 

My post is about the fact that users do not choose where this sim is going next and this fact simulates war itself. What's is great for a simulation product because it generates all kind of feelings. You can choose buy it or not and take your transfer to next theater.

 

But if you think it is offensive, you should uninstall the sim from your computer right now. After all, it's also immoral and offensive killing people and destroy things on a virtual environment if we follow your thinking.

The P-40 E had the Allison V-1710-39

The P-39 D had the Allison V-1710-35

The P-39 N had the Allison V-1710-85

The P-39 Q had the Allison V-1710-85

 

So if we get N or Q it will be better, if its the D, Well I guess it'll be worse O.O

Oh yes. Mrs F_IV is Korean, so the Spam gets a go every now and again. Sliced and cooked in the pan with kimchi thrown in towards the end is great too!

I am 50 years old and I work too much, so I don't have a lot of time for flying virtual aircraft, but I love it and I want this to eventually develop into coverage of the entire war.

The whole high quality combat flight simulator genre is a small dream come true for me.  Reading about these aircraft growing up as well as now, and then flying them in virtual combat is some most fun I have had with my clothes on.

So bring it on!

Hopefully I speak for a silent majority of older guys that work too much but have a little extra cash to throw at this hobby and want to see it move forward with our support.
