Help with multiplayer

Hi, i would like to ask you for help. I didn´t have a problem with dogfight in campaign. But in multiplayer (wings of liberty) i get totally destroyed. I thought i will start bombing with some Axis fighter (with Gustav or MC.202), but bombs are forbidden on this server for both for some reason. Stuka is too slow (easy meat for ruskies) and so are other bombers in my opinion. Im stuck between easily winning every campaign mission and getting owned in multiplayer...

WoL is tragically the only/most populated server, and it locks loadouts on planes, try playing on antoher server, try TAW or Tactical Air War when it pops, up (it should be on this week i think; its an online dynamic campaign that runs 24/7 an you have a limited plane set if that suits your play style a bit better.

Rounds were ending very quickly when all fighters could carry bombs and the server was resetting every 15 minutes which was annoying. I dislike that the P40, 190 and E7 have no payload or limited ones though because they were heavily used for ground attack.

 

If you want a fast bomber, fly a Pe-2.

 

Oh yeah, TAW gets full on the weekends often so keep that server in mind. I wish more people flew there. WoL is fun but....meh. they could add a bit of variety to objectives. Something other than "drop bombs here".

 

My recommendation....don't fly alone. Sorry but I do enjoy seeing lone wolves flying around in their 109 when we're running 4 La-5s deep. It's an easy kill.

I thought they have done this because it was simply too good. Sadly, i was right. I love flying BF 109 on ground attack missions and its forbidden here. I will try TAW. Thanks for advice guys

Some maps on WOL have different load outs for aircraft. Some maps the109-E7 gets 4x50kg, the P-40 gets 4x ROS 82's, and the Yak gets 6x ROS 82's.

 

But yeah, now you know why a lot of people call Wings of Liberty "Wings of Limitations."

 

Also, don't forget about the 72AG DeD Random Expert server. It's like WoL but better. No GPS, dynamic targets that have to be found first, unlimited weapons loadouts on aircraft, limited aircraft per player. Good damn server.

They have blocked SC 250 on Gustav However, much better server than WOL (i can use 4x SC50 at least   ). Im ok with no GPS. It is a bit weird to have point accurate GPS in 1942

Try our VirtualPilots - Moscow WarBirds server. No loadout limitations and mission runs in 14 hour cycles

DeD Expert and TAW (when it comes online again) are great servers for bombing, resupplying etc. When TAW is up again I am going there instead of WoL. Another nice thing about these servers is that they require navigation skills (no GPS) so its very difficult to call for backup or report positions to teammates so you often find yourself in a dogfight and unless you are in a populated area of the map, you don't often get 100 other players rushing in, shoulder shooting etc etc.

 

WoL is ok but its more of a warthunder furball fest than anything else.
