Ollie_ Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 My friend recently bought IL-2 Sturmovik BoS and was hoping to play with me and another friend of mine however, even on the lowest settings his gaming is constantly lagging getting 6-20 fps. He has this laptop which has all the recommended specs to play the game. One theory we had was the game was using the laptops integrated graphics to run the game instead of the GTX 960, as when he was running the game his laptop would stay cold. Any ideas?
1CGS BlackSix Posted September 2, 2016 1CGS Posted September 2, 2016 When launched by default the game runs on an integrated video adapter which is almost always not enough for the game. Please, open your graphic card driver settings and make sure that Il-2.exe will always run on this card, not on your integrated adapter. Or use our support http://il2sturmovik.com/support/
Superfly29r Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 I had this exact problem, fps from 5-30 fps and almost unplayable. Tried many things, reinstalls etc. but the solution was the power settings... Go to Control panel > Hardware and sound > power options Select high performance plan, change settings and then advanced options. Go through everything and set them all to maximum performance or try to turn off any cheeky power saving nonsense. Screw the power bill, we just want to game!
