Pre-Purchase BF109 F4 Skin (??)

So, I was flying on WoL the other day and I noticed I had a new official skin for the F4. The description said it was a reward for early adopters of, I'm presuming Battle of Moscow. In any case, it's now gone and I've never been able to access it again...Anyone know what's up?

That's a founders skin and they must have finally taken them away. I guess people who preordered the yak-1b and ju52 received the founders skins even thought they didn't "found" the sim.

I didn't preorder the new planes. I have had the 190 and the LA5 for a long time though. 

 

I've never had this skin before. Only for that one session.

AFAIK, yes, these two skins are available now only for people who founded BOS

Well, you got the gold tag if you bought the premium version of BOS, however you must not have bought it before the date for the founders program.

 

I have to say, out of all the kick-starters that people have funded, this one has turned out to be an amazing investment and a huge trust builder.  The poor people who kick-started the DCS: WWII got screwed and I doubt that they will trust the dev's over there to deliver on their promises.

 

Just another reason to love the IL2 series.

As far as I know ED has nothing to do with the KS campaign - but they are still delivering the planes and a Normandy map with units.

Backers will get their stuff - so where´s the problem?

This actually anoyed me! I had these skins at first as I bought in DEC 2013 when we only had the lagg with no guns, a couple of missions.... a couple of months later they took them away and gave them to people that bought in during sept.

It's a shame that I bought it in Dec 2013, before that, I will throw cash in immediately if I knew this 'new il-2 series' back then.

I do remember I was able to use the founder skins sometimes before full release iirc.

Limited time preorder wasn't ideal in my case imo, yet we were being tagged as ' Founder'. Nonsense.

I bought from Steam in September 9th 2014 and I don't have the skins either. As there is in the FAQ: only purchases from the web store were/are eligible inner scream... in case anyone else wonders too.
