MTO usually gets the most votes in these types of polls.  I don't think there has ever been a MTO flight sim.

Don't know why we have these polls... we already know it's going to be the Kuban next

And yes Gav, we have had these polls on other forums and the Med/Africa always gets the biggest votes, yet... ah well, I might generate a little more interest when the IL2 gets an airing, it's the only plane that I feel like flying.

I bought into this game from the start... don't know why, I've only logged in and flown a couple of times, lol!

I voted for med, for reasons stated above. Especially Tunisian Campaign would make a good next modul, since it would have interesting planeset and at the begining allies didn't have total air superiority. Also the German planes and some of the allied, could be used in Kursk and Kuban modules. If (and probably when) this sim stays in Eastern Front in it's next module, it really should be Third Battle of Kharkov, that would tie things up nicely for both Kursk and Kuban with gradually expanding planesets. The problem of course could be marketing. I think that only Eastern Front Battles largely known in west are Barbarossa, Stalingrad and Kursk. Then again, it could be "IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad - The Aftermath"

 

Then again I guess this would be not a problem in Russian markets.

Thats why second edition of  original IL2 was named ''Forgotten battles''

I'm willing to bet the Il2 - Med/Africa expansion pack will be the third release. The dev team seems to be pretty smart, though, they also have a pretty solid idea of the plan as well. In the meantime I'm happy to go to Kuban with some lend lease aircraft, maybe an HS 129 and a nice Russian spring. Gonna need to thaw out after Stalingrad and some mild snow blindness. So maybe some RR with a pretty German nurse as well.

How about Balkans (Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia and etc.)?

I hope we'll go back to the Pacific some time. I think carrier ops are just thrilling and I like the p38 and Corsair and the Hellcat, all three having been principally on the pacific theatre.

War in the Mediterranean is pretty interesting and a original. So far only IL2 mods gave this possibility.

 

Imaging bombers incursions over southern Italy or Romanian oil refineries. Or fighting over the dunes while a blazing armor platoons of Monty and Rommel are shooting lead to each other. Amazing!

 

Also anything involving carrier ops, mainly Pacific theater I guess, would be really interesting and challenging.

 

Just think about a long mission, dive bomb or torpedo an enemy vessel, damaged, and face a recovery on the bouncy and tiny carrier deck. ))

After the snow of Stalingrad, a good relax time taking a sun-bath among the dunes could be a healthy solution

for our bodies...

 For what it already the game has the most interesting would be the  Britain and Channel, 1940-1944.. Personally I am a fan of the late war planes - war. but I will play anything ( almost - except the camel war)
