A small informal beer-party at Moscow

Hi pilots!

 

BoM is released, we have some new plans for future, and now it is a short time when our dev team can slow down a bit before we start our next project.

 

We would like to have a little party somewhere near our office. Not official, just for fun and beer. We would like to invite everybody even though not all of our members will be able to come I guess. So, if you are in Moscow at this time (haha) and if you like to join us - welcome!

 

Date: September, 9 Friday.

Time: starting 20:00 MSK.

Place: "Taras Bulba", Sadovaya-Samotechnaya, 13, Moscow

 

If you are going to come (magic happens! ), please let us know. It will help us to book a nice place for this meeting.

Unfortunately bureaucracy requires me to personally deliver visa request forms, wich means travelling another 1400km to the russian embassy and back home

And then it is not even sure I could get it in time.

 

Otherwise could be totally worth it, visiting Monino and the Kremlin and alike. And in the evening some vodka tastings...

I want the announcement of next theater to be from the dev party while everyone is drunk and trying to stay coherent on camera. Morning after, they should go back and check what they said and make corrections. I'd pay for that.

Love to come but it’s a bit too far! Counterproposal:  St. Petersburg, closer to where I live and I can take the ferry over from Sweden.

 

On a more serious note: Would be nice if you developers interacted more with us forum users in the future. Good win-win examples of this can be found in the DCS forum where the developers have interacted with the forum community on the WW2 modules and the 3^rd party developers RAZBAM and Leatherneck forums are also good examples that this can be mutually beneficial.

 

I have read what Jason has written about future plans which sounds good and I was hoping we could also look forward to more customer interaction with you developers going forward. I think the Il-2 series would also benefit from this and while I think most of us appreciate that you can’t do this all of the time some developer input in flight- and damage model discussions now and then would go a long way in terms of securing good customer relations.

 

Finally: Keep up the good work and hope you have a great party! Nastrovje!

Ju-52, Yak-1b and today news are great. I wish Moscow was closer to allow me to join in, meet the team, share a beer with sim enthusiasts (and - why not? - some good music), and enjoy the hype !
