Hi, :)

I’ve bought the bos-game and I’m looking for pilots, who have got experience with landing the Lagg3.

Starting this plane and fighting with it is no problem for me, even when I’m new to this flight-sim. And I also can manage it to bring this plane down to the landing site with 200 km/h and touching the ground. But after rolling a certain distance strait ahead, the plane breaks out to the right site  :dash:  Even to try to stop the plane with both breaks doesn’t help. And to try to stop the plane in this case with the left wheel-break, together with the side-rudder, doesn’t help either.

Has anybody got experience with it?

Thanks for all answer in advance!!

Best regards here from Berlin

-Flaps 50%

-Full pitch trim to tail heavy

-Prop pitch 100%

-200km/h is way too fast,go like 160 on flare

-Don't push brakes and rudder at the same time= avoid one sided braking

-Keep rpm at about 1400 after touchdown

-Stick to the balls

-Corrections with rudder by short tapping,no spanking, bad boy,it ain't a hooker :D

It is quite possible the hardest plane in this game to land

Maybe, but I am still working on landing the P40

I do not know too much about the P 40 but it do handle oddly in last stage of landing. Like it is noseheavy

A way around this is to add about 25% throttle as you apply steady braking. That way you have air flow over the rudder until it is moving slowly enough for the brakes to help you steer.

This is literally all you need to do, just make sure you have no side load when you touch down. Keep flying it until you're stopped.

Hi,

I just wanted to say thank you all for all answers. Well - landing several types of airplanes is looking quiet challenging.

However, I'm still fighting with the Lagg 3 - to be patient and to fly slow & low as possible before touching the ground. When I've mastered that more or less without crash-landings, then I will train the break menu in order do keep the plane running straight ahead.

However - in an another quote I could read something about a "pitch". Well - I think this belongs to the propeller pitch. But at this point I tried to change the propeller pitch, - but the program didn't react in any way - even when I changed the single keys of it. Or hasn't the Lagg 3 the possibility to change the propeller? [i tried it also with other russian single-machine planes, - no success either].

What went wrong  -  any ideas....?  :help:

Thanks many times in advance & best regards
