CoD update on Steam today!

Just a heads up, a steam update for CoD appeared today and patches the game for W8/10 compatibility and a number of other things.

However this breaks every TF MOD installation apparently and requires a uninstall and install again. Unfortunately I do not know if TF MOD is compatible with this new version since a number of things got patched.

It is. Just patch the install again. It all works

Doesn't affect non Steam CLoD, and non W10 users, does it? Haven't dropped into CLoD for a while now but it's a game I truly enjoy. I wish it well.

This affect CloD installed/played through STEAM interface - since CLoD is STEAM game (I know about "unofficial" DLL's).

 

But one can start CloD outside of STEAM, even for online player, just leaving STEAM open in background, and making a shortcut for their Launcher, in this way STEAM allow game start, but ignore then.

 

I don't have CloD installed through STEAM interface, but add CLoD direct shortcut in STEAM interface as "non STEAM game (for convenient start), so have 0 issues with STEAM Cloud  - loss of key assignments, although this is caused be players misuse of this feature, or unwanted updates.
