How BoM merges with BoS?

Sorry after general search I couldn't find the answer to this. I have the non-Steam version of BoS. I just purchased the non-Steam version of BoM. I haven't loaded it yet on my PC because I didn't see where it allowed the option to combine or merge BoM with BoS. Is it okay to install BoM in its own folder and somehow they get merged through the installer? I would like a clarification of how you should install if you want them combined. Thanks!

As long as you activate the product under your account the two products will integrate automagically.
