Martini Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Hi, I'm making a new profile for my x52-pro and need some suggestions with setting up some engine controls and trim. Should I bind all these controls together in one macro? - oil radiator - water radiator - cowl flaps How about trim controls between axis and allies? Now I have the pitch trim for BF109 on my rotary axis and pitch, yaw, roll on my 4 way POV1. Thank you I
Sokol1 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) If you want the best performance of the plane, bind water and oil radiator controls together is not good idea. Cowl flaps can be bind in same key/button for water radiator, as the plane that use one don't use the other, so you are just "cooling" any engine with this command. Pitch trim on rotary is exclusive for Bf 109, no other plane allow. For the others set trim in one POV HAT is good and practical idea, you can even assign this HAT for Bf 109 elevator trim too, and use this and the above for this plane, sometimes key press give you more fine control over trim than the low resolution axis (8 bits - 256 points) of X-52 rotary. Use rotary for coarse trim, HAT for fine. Edited August 20, 2016 by Sokol1
