Is DirectX 11 coming to this game or the next title?

TSIA. Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm still new to the forums and not really sure where to look. I think DX11 would improve the graphics and performance greatly in this game if it were implemented.

Yes, DX 11 is confirmed by the Dev's but we do not have a date yet. It will be implemented for any future titles and the two we have (BOS/BOM) will be ported over when it arrives.

It will be here "in a few months". Just to make it clear, dont expect a complete overhaul of graphics. Just a basic implementation so VR can work natively.

I wouldnt expect any graphical upgrades in the short term (hopefully object draw distance is addressed).

The visuals are perfectly fine in my opinion. I'm just hoping it will smooth out the frame rate and like you said fix the draw distance :)

IL-2: BoS/BoM aren't really titles anymore. There is a core engine that drives everything and then content is plugged into them. So improvements to the core, i.e. changes to the engine like DirectX11 upgrades, will affect everyone.

So it's definitely coming to whatever you already own. Whatever comes next will, as it already has, improve the overall package which is always a great thing! :)
