Mouse not staying "in the game" and aiming the turret ??

First issue is that my mouse doesnt stay confined within the game, so if i right click or the mouse wonders out side the game and I click say to shot, it drops out of the game to the desktop or whatevers on the other monitors. How do I keep the mouse locked into the game ONLY, I am fullscreen not windowed so I don't know why its treating it like a windowed game.

Second, perhaps related to the above problem, there is no way to aim the turrets. The joystick, mouse or keyboard doesnt seem to aim it. I can hit take control of the turret and get the aiming reticul, or zoom down the sights, but there is no way to move the turret. I found someone that said its confusing the mouse and trackir maybe? but i deleted every pilot head and view control that even mentioned the mouse and it still doesnt work. What can I do?

i don't think there are any options in game but if you get this http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/swapscreen.html you'll be able to confine your mouse to a single monitor. i know it's a hassle and wish it weren't this way but this is what we have to do for now.

just go to the cursor tab and set a hotkey for "lock cursor onto screen" and pressing that key will toggle between confined and unconfined.

hope that helps!

So everyone has this problem as in its a bug? or is this something only somewhat common?

it has affected me since RoF, i'm not sure if everyone with two monitors has the same problem.

I've always had the problem in the game Rise of Flight and BoS (though I only got BoS recently)

On my winxp i had to use a mouse capture software but it doesn't seem to work on my new windows 10 anymore... However FPS isn't an issue for me anymore, so I use fullscreen to deal with that problem.

It's a major problem because if I misclick out of the game, it's GG:

Same issue for me. My game is set to full screen. I use a twin monitors display, so I can't move turret to the left (my game takes place on the right monitor) whithout sliding on the other screen. When I click, it brings me back to desktop. Now I switch to single monitor display (windows+P) before playing to avoid this. It's anoying since I like to watch maps or others informations like teamspeak on the second display.

like i said, if you find yourself in a turret or a tank try out the swapscreen app. it works really well and can be toggled on and off while still being able to see the other screen.

The problem as I see it is not that I can move the mouse of the dominant game screen (very useful for navigation on 3d party apps) but that the game minimizes when I try to use something else on my other screens!

afaik you need the pilotview to move the turret ,so if you deleted it maybe just return to standard settings (save the input layout in your BoS folder ) and test it

I had this same issue and tried the program lerocket posted. Works great. Small program, doesnt use much memory, easy setup. Everything is disabled by default, you go to cursor settings and setup hotkey to enable/disable the cursor lock so that when hotkey is pressed the cursor is locked to whatever screen its on at the time. Thanks!
