Anyone using gtx 950 for BoS?

Title pretty much sums it up. I'm curious what performance one could expect in the game using this card. So, if you have one and read this, please share your experiences.

 

PS: no need for comments saying that a 960 (or a 1080, why not?) would be better, i've figured that out by myself

I have GTX960 half year ago and BOS run just fine with maxout sett.1080p,...GTX950(if you overclocked GTX950 you get GTX960 performance) will run BOS perfectly BUT! keep in mind you also need a killer CPU for BOS only latest core i5 or i7 are able to run BOS reasonably well(and even those sometimes struggle).This old badly optimize engine is just very,very CPU heavy.

Well, thank you very much (but your sig says gtx 1060?). Anyway, i have an i5 3550 (3,3 Ghz with possible boost to 3,7 i believe). It's certainly not high-end, but i thought it would do the job. But please correct me if i'm wrong. (Also, should i bother with the 3,7 ghz overclock if i don't have any additional cooling stuff? )

Yes i dont have gtx960 anymore,i bought GTX1060 two weeks ago,...anyway ivy bridge i5 3550 is still good cpu,you will be fine with GTX950...in trems of overclocking ,yes you should try that,you dont have K CPU(fully open multiplier,like3570K)but if you have OC chipset(z77,p67)you can OC this CPU to 4ghz i believe with 40x multiplaier set in bios,but not more than that.For cooling check something like cooler master 212 evo,those coolers are good and cheap.

I still wouldn't mind if someone with actual 950 experiences popped up, but i guess most people here don't use 'cheap' cards like this.

Sure thing ...i am sure GTX950 will be fine,i have experience with different hardware in BOS,recently i own GTX960 ,r9 380,RX480 which i return,and now i have GTX1060,il2 BOS is so heavily dependent on CPU,that there is basically not much difference between those cards in FPS in BOS ,because CPU is just that much bottleneck in current BOS engine.
