willald Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I had recently unlocked the Stuka in the campaign and had been flying it in campaign for a couple of hours, before heading on to the Wings of Liberty server. After take off I realised that my engine was still in take off mode after I had dropped throttle to 55% which is usually in continuous mode for me. The oil and coolant temperatures seemed good. After a while 55% throttle became climb mode but that wasn't enough power to prevent stalling so I headed back to the runway whilst being force to increase throttle to 67% about, to prevent stalling then I was back in take off mode. But due to exceeding the take off mode time, I had engine failure and couldn't reach the airfield with the speed and altitude that I had so I had to ditch the plane. I then left and the same result happened again on a singleplayer mission. I was wondering if there was any solution. Thank you.
F/JG300_Gruber Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 This plane doesn't have the automatic propeller pitch like the 109 and 190. You have to adjust your RPM or else you will keep blowing up your engines
willald Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 are you adjusting the RPM setting downward? This plane doesn't have the automatic propeller pitch like the 109 and 190. You have to adjust your RPM or else you will keep blowing up your engines Yeah cheers both of you, when I decreased RPM after take off it worked.
Fern Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 23 RPM and 1.25 ata will run forever after full power takeoff. Also make sure you only have 30% fuel.
