How to lock a custom paint scheme for online?

does anybody know how to lock a custom paint scheme for online mission? It is clear how to make official scheme locking but not a custom one...

It is possible to download custom schemes automatically while you are joining a server but I can't lock them yet.

Are those skins selected by the host? Or someone joining with a new custom skin can be viewed by the rest even if they didnt have the skin?

Hmmmm how is it done to allow custom skin download from the server. I thought it was not possible in any way. Thats why there are huge collections ov skins to download separately.

But how do you set up the server so that the players will download the custom skins? Just put the custom skins to the custom skins folder on the server?

It seems to me that this would be fairly limited anyway as it would end up with everyone that picked a particular aircraft having the exact same skin and hence the exact same ID number/designation.

 

Or maybe I misunderstand how this would work.
