Reinstalling Windows

I will be reinstalling windows 8.1 today. Had some hardware changes, and things work better with a fresh install. My question is whether I will be able to download the game as I did this past week. Will this be possible, or will I have to wait on the next update? Thanks.

You can propably just make a backup of your BoS folder to an external drive and copy it over later.

Can't download at this time, I assume only when they turn the lights back on next week, so to speak, will one be able to download again.

I am not available Tues-Thursday, and thought I would at least go ahead and download/install it yesterday - just get a message can't connect to server.

I don't think the registry will see it if I just copy the files back over. I will probably just wait and download the whole thing again this week.

I assume it's the same as with RoF. There it is no problem at all to transfer the RoF folder over to a new install. You just may have to resintall DirectX and that stuff...but I'm not sure about this,could aswell be that you don't need to.

3) Can I make a copy of the game folder and move it to another PC?
Yes, it can be done. After the game is installed:
- copy the entire IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad folder and paste it where you want it
- install all necessary 3rd party software from ...\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\updater\3rd_party\, or launch IL2_setup.exe and choose to install that software
- start the game using ...\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game\Il2.exe, or Launcher.exe files

4) Can I run the game on different PCs? Can I be logged into my account on different machines at the same time?
You can play the game with your account on any available PC. But it is not allowed to login to one account from multiple PCs.
