Win 10 Anniversary Update Glitches

Anyone else installed the update and run into any problems with IL-2? When I exit the game the screen goes black and I have to turn off and turn on my PC. Haven't noticed this in DCSW or a few others I've tried. Could be related to running full-screen, I'll do some checking. GPU is a GTX970 with the latest NVidia driver.

After install Win10 this eventually happen there with ARMA3 - that run previously with 0 issues in Win7.

Okay, I did some checking and this only happens when running in full-screen mode. With full-screen turned off it exits correctly. Ran DCSW in both modes and did not experience any problems. Could be GPU driver related I guess. Will see if I can find out anything else.

Uninstalled the NVIDIA driver using DDU and re-installed. Still no luck, game crashes when exiting if in full-screen mode. Oh well, will keep hunting around for a fix.

I have exactly the same issue.

As far as I can tell, it's not crashing, only the screen goes black , and there is nothing that brings it back but a restart.

There is another thread and someone mentioned that if you alt-tab to the desktop you can then close IL2 down using the icon in the task bar and it does not black screen. Here is the link: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/24281-computer-locks-when-exiting-game/

 

I did submit a bug report along with the files they requested.

Turn off full screen , works for me .
