6./ZG26_McKvack Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Have you an idea of the release date of the Ju 52? We have nothing atm but looking at the pics and comparing other aircrafts that has been in the same state in a DD and between the actual release, I'd guess late august as earliest or early/mid september
Habu Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) No, we have no date. Don't forget that dev should have holliday which means that work will slow down. Edited August 7, 2016 by Habu

They have to put the textures and then beta test them for a little. My guess is closer to October. I would gladly be wrong and get the plane sooner though.

As the FM is done, exterior completed and there are no bombs and such. Only 1 gunner station to model and the plane have been ingame for a while and works in the campaign with AI.
Monostripezebra Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Dropable supply-canisters would really make for an historically accurate gameplay element that would give the Ju some role... maybe mission designers could have like an inactive tank spawn point, that gets activated if you drop enough supply containers on it or the likes! 3

This would be so cool.

I agree and hope we have that feature. It could be usefull for the HE111 too, which drop suply with Ju52 in the staligrad pocket. Edited August 10, 2016 by Habu
Jason_Williams Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Here's a little peak for you guys. Jason 12
Dutchvdm Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Hi Jason, Very nice! Looks like a good place to be. I guess the second seat will stay empty? Since we have no need for a co-pilot. Grt M
Feathered_IV Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Very exciting, thanks Jason! Looks like there won't be much in the way of vision to the sides or rear. Leading a formation might feel lonesome at times. I'm still trying to decide if there will be more wisdom flying in convoy, or if going it alone will be the best way to get the job done.
6./ZG26_McKvack Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 (edited) I hope we will see another pilot in the other seat. Sure he dont need to do anything but it would look nice Thanks for the pic Jason Edited August 10, 2016 by 6./ZG26_McKvack 2
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 He could be there like the Pe-2 navigator, chilling through most of the trip Looking great so far, thanks for the sneak peak Jason.

Pe-2 navigator does have to take on the dorsal turret if the plane is attacked. He at least has something to do. Even for MP when someone want's to ride along. What would you do on the second seat of the Ju-52? Insulting the attackers by shouting at them? Grt M

6./ZG26_McKvack Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 How about this: Add the co-pilot as a seat and he can observe everything in the cockpit and so on but not change anything. It will be an observer spot. Its better than nothing devs pls
Jade_Monkey Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Here's a little peak for you guys. JU-52_Cockpit_WIP.jpg Jason Nice! It looks like a very tight space, must have been pretty uncomfortable in real life.
Dutchvdm Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Nice! It looks like a very tight space, must have been pretty uncomfortable in real life. But if they leave the second seat empty, you can at least stretch your legs... Ok i will now stop... Grt M
6./ZG26_McKvack Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) Jason can we please have a sneak peak on the 52 this week Just a pic would satisfy me Edited August 18, 2016 by 6./ZG26_McKvack 1
Neil Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 You want a real sneakpeak? Here is one: Made by the talented modeler Sita from Daidalos Team. Him and his team made many new aircraft and features for IL2 1946... without being paid! Not a better proof of passion and dedication. I admire this team. Neil Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) Why you didn't asked this question for the last 2 pictures of wrecked ju52? Edited August 18, 2016 by Nil

I think pics of the real plane has everything to do with it. Other developers Ju-52 project does not. No offence. Edited August 18, 2016 by Zami
BlitzPig_EL Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Just having a bit of fun. I hope you enjoy the 52 when she becomes available.
216th_Jordan Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I will do so much silly stuff with this plane. always wanted to land on a train with this bird
Neil Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Just having a bit of fun. I hope you enjoy the 52 when she becomes available. You do not have to explain yourself Blitz, your picture is fine! (but sad to see a wasted tante Ju) guys y u do dis You are right, waste of time to read and answer a troll... sorry, I will not do it again! I have better to do in my life
Lusekofte Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I've got another great one. Yeah I published it, many of those lies around here in Narvik. Frank Bang who taken this picture is a fella I know in the community of scuba divers . The history of JU 52 in Norway and around Narvik is my main reason for wanting it in this simulator. If it is going to be flown online, why not. You get no honor flying bombers, and none at all flying transports. yet if you did nt have them the war in Russia would not happened, neither in New Guinea. But you cannot make people flying it online, you need to encourage it . My bet on DED server is that from published JU 52 both sides need to fly supply in a JU 52 , and fighters will have a feast on them 1
6./ZG26_McKvack Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 "Y u do dis" was also a joke. I laughed at the pics you guys posted Keep em coming 2
Neil Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I hope the people survived in this crash on water. 1
