FW-190 and La-5 Release Date ?

That's what I wanted to know too. Especially the La-5. It is probably the best turn and burn fight in eastern front at the time.

By most accounts it turned only slightly better than an Fw-190A, thus making it one of the worst turn fighters on the eastern front.

 

Regardless, I expect those two will be the very last two added prior to official release. It is also entirely possible they will be added shortly after release instead of before.

Haven't even seen the He111 yet, so I'd say they're a ways off yet.

I'm simultaneously looking forward to/dreading the FW. I find the LaGG amazingly responsive, so I can't imagine how light on the controls the 190 will be!

I'm very much looking forward to it though. Such a beautiful (in a brutal way) plane.

In my view, the two main selling points from a marketing perspective was to purchase a premium addition with the hopes of having the FW along with the La-5 made available to fly once the game went live.  Not to wait to some distant date in the first quarter or beyond of 2014.  If neither the FW nor the La-5 is planned for premium members upon this game going live, where is the cost benefit ?  That is why we paid the extra money.

You were mistaken.  You paid for early access to the game and you paid for the FW/La-5.  You did not pay for early access to the Fw/La-5.

But there's another thing I would like to mention here...

Some day I would really want to see human factor dialed in this "turn and burn" and "boom and zoom"...

So after we do hard tnb at 600kph or bnz with sharp 2000m loss and sharp 1000m gain at 800kph we also get some nasty side effects which prevent arcadey game and close us more to the real deal.

Where pilots died because of such over eager moves. Or should I say overestimated their physical abilities.

 

In the end, it kinda blends in with "it's the pilot not the plane that matters".

 

Hope to see it in this game.

You were mistaken.  You paid for early access to the game and you paid for the FW/La-5.  You did not pay for early access to the Fw/La-5.
