I called it "Sisu" - or : "How flying in (fake) Finnish colors makes you stronger!"

 

 

Nothing special, even though two of the IL-2s disintegrated nicely and my AI-wingman actually shot an La5 off my tail that I had been dragging up (around 5 mins into the video).

 

Campaign mission with 109 G-2/R6. Last pass on the smoking IL-2 was pretty terrible ... sitting duck and all that, but somehow firing passes like that (when the target is flying straight and level and doesn't twitch around) can be harder for me than high angle deflection shots ...
