LuftManu Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone, I was wondering about a change in Hadware. My actual specs are 4GB 600 MHz Gtx 560 TI 2 GB TwinFrozer I5 2500 3.3 Ghz 500 GB Hard Drive Gygabyte P61-USB3-B3 Win 7 64 Bit I want to upgrade the parts in red, Ram and Graphics Card. The best option I saw it was. MSI. GTX760 2GB GDDR5 256BIT INTEGRAL 8GB DDR3 PC1333 My Budget its very Low. My worst fear is the Neck Bottle, and the Power Suply, If i move the actual specs, I will be able to mount the "Upgraded ones"? Thanks in advace, and if you have any more idea, Just tell me, Thanks! JaMz Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 You wont have a bottleneck with that setup... that CPU is fine and is better than mine so don't let others tell you otherwise..take it from someone that is playing these games with a mediocre system at best on max settings Your RAM will make the 'most' difference with that upgrade Your power supply (whatever it is) will not be using anymore power (very very minute) than what it is now with just those 2 items upgraded So answer to your question.. Yes Upgrade to what you want and have suggested. Your system will be good to go on max BoS settings
LuftManu Posted November 23, 2013 Author Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the responses, here is the deal. MSI. GTX760 2GB GDDR5 256BIT OC And Two 4 GB Kingston 4Gb PC 1600 CL 250$ Edited November 23, 2013 by Manu_vc
DD_Arthur Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Manu, your system isn't too bad. It'll run BoS o.k. right now. Have you tried the RoF F2P yet? It'll give you a pretty good idea of what to expect performance wise from BoS. If I were in your position and funds are tight, I'd wait until you get access in December. Then make a decision. If you're going to sink a chunk of money into a new card then I'm not convinced that a GTX760 is that great a leap over your present set up. I'd certainly get more ram. Nothing to stop you doing that now,
LuftManu Posted November 23, 2013 Author Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) Hello, Yes I tried, I play with this settings But on 40 Fps, and some slutters. its time to change in my "house" near this dates, Every 2 years I change components of the pc, so if they are in the "Winter Holidays" I do not need to buy another present. 250$ In total. its the "Local" store. And thanks for everyone response! Salute! Edited November 23, 2013 by Manu_vc
VR-DriftaholiC Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Check out the 760ti boost and also I saw i5-3570k on sale newegg black friday
dave9810 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 If you're worried about your power supply then check the requirements of the GPU and what your PSU can give. I'm not 100% but i think the requirements for the GTX 780 are 12v rail up to 42amps... or something a long those lines
BigPickle Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 But on 40 Fps, and some slutters. Not trying to be a twat or anything but this made me lol 1
LuftManu Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 Thanks for the resposnes of everyone, I will wait until December and then confirm the Package, my power supply was 850W, thanks for the advice! Salute!
