Today we had an epic dogfight on WoL server.

 

We were strafing russian rocket launchers when two Yaks showed up. The first one was quickly shotdown but the second one was really good and fought for ten minutes or more.

 

I dont know exactly when I started to record but it was really a long fight with 190 turning on the edge of stall and an outnumbered yak using magic flaps.

 

It was really tense for both sides.

After seeing the track twice,

 

Just my advice : tweak your joystick curves mate ! 

Your nose is wobbling all over the place and due to that you missed at least 2 to 3 golden shots. Especially the pitch response is way too abrupt. 

Try setting a 40% sensitivity for the pitch axis and maybe 20% on the roll axis. It should make a big difference. (That's approximately what I'm using on the 190)

 

I looked at the battle from the yak's perspective and this was really nice to watch.

I'm quite impressed by his situational awareness and ability to position himself to maintain a high AoT each time one of you is closing in. I still have a long way to get to this level.

I remember like it was yesterday this fight , and if it was very epic , I remember that day was very focused but I had to take the yak to the limit , and when I appeared the fourth 109 things got a little tense and the only alternative to calculate was take defense my position where I could bring emergency yak down after nearly 12 minutes of twists and confrontations   , thanks for this beautiful dogfight for me is a reminder excellent and I hope you serve helps many ,,,,, one ECV56_Black_ice greeting

Server online provide us really good fighting experiences...nearly to be written on our virtual logbook :-)..

I met Black ice several times in WoL, he is real good pilot..
