Two questions re early G-series 109 instruments

Been looking through cockpit-shots of the G-series on the web.

Among others I found this excellent page:

http://www.jagdgeschwader4.de/index.php/flugwerft-hauptraum/jaeger/messerschmitt-bf-109

Seems to be German only, so mouse-over "Flugwerft", then "Jäger" to get to the fighter-pics.

Anyway: I was surprised to see that all the G-2s I could find on there have the older style manifold pressure gauge without the markings for continuous, climb/combat and take-off-/emergency-settings (the gauge that the He 111 seems to have in BoS). "Black 6" does have the more modern style of gauge,

so I was wondering if that thing was (wrongly) put in there after the war during restoration or if the G-2 came with both versions of the gauge back in the day.

Second question is about oil-/water-temp gauge. IIRC, that thing was dual-purpose with a selector-switch to alternate between water- and oil-temperature. Hence the instruction on it saying "Schmierstoff-Eintritt drücken" (or something like that), meaning "push for lubricant inlet (temperature)". Is this modeled in-game or do I have the RL-functionality of this gauge wrong?

The temperature gauge as modeled only shows water temperature. The manifold pressure gauge is probably a case where various models could be installed without issue / old stock being used up, etc.
