JG13_opcode Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) The master listing server is down, so of course it's either don't play the game we paid for or "play" to unlock things in singleplayer. In either case there's no fun to be had. No wonder this game has hardly anyone playing. I'm so demoralized by the constant screwups the last two il2 games have had. Some of us work and have a family and only get a few hours a week to play. Keeping a listing server up should be a no brainer. I've written a little code myself and done some sysadminning in my day, and guaranteed with Amazon AWS I could achieve 99% uptime for a server list on a modest budget. But it's just another item in a long and really disheartening trend for me, because I want flight sims to succeed and not become arcade MMOs like war thunder. You kinda remind me of some people here in Washington who live on an island and depend on a ferry to get to work, then complain when something unpredictable like all the ferries having some mechanical issue, causing the service to be shut down for the day. Its part of the "job" but be sure me and other mods wont let anybody badmouth us. Also if anybody want to discuss moderation with us, it can be done, in private as stated in rule number 6. 1
