taffy2jeffmorgan Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) Hi All, For no apparent reason the forward cockpit view in the La-5 is distorted with everything showing in close up ? I have checked the other aircraft cockpits and they are as normal, I use TrackIR 5 I first notice this when selecting on of Pat Wilson's campaign missions [Russian, La-5] checked other PWC mission a/c and they work OK. I have tried hitting the centre reset button and changing my head view with TrackIR, but the odd view seems to stay, I have also check the La-5 cockpit view in Quick Missions and the fault is there also ? Has anyone else experienced this ! Cheers. Edited July 5, 2016 by taffy2jeffmorgan
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Yes it is zoomed, the reflector sight is twice its normal size, the strange thing is that its not a problem with the other aircraft, and also i have never had this problem with the La-5 before ?
Dakpilot Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Is it possible you have inadvertently saved a snap view by accidentally pressing F10 in this particular aircraft? Cheers Dakpilot
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Thanks Dakpilot, Not sure, but i'll check it out.
Dutchvdm Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Try to zoom out and press F10 to save the new snapview. That would do the trick. If Dakpilot is right. Grt M
Dakpilot Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 The 'views' are saved in data > LuaScripts > Snapviews If you delete - la5s8.svc it should rebuild as default But let someone else confirm that before trying..or make a back up Or do as Martijn says Cheers Dakpilot 1
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 I have found the problem, it was the scroll wheel on my new gaming mouse, is the scroll a default for zoom ? if so i shall alter it. I'm not having much luck lately, firstly convinced myself that new downloaded missions were not installing, only to find out that they take a little longer than normal, and now this !!!! Thanks everyone
Dakpilot Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Yep scroll is default for zoom No worries Cheers Dakpilot
ACG_KaiLae Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Speaking of zoom, is there any way to use the zoom with trackIR head position? I'd like to zoom in by leaning forward, but after a small amount it stops.
