216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Terrible news, thanks for sharing Bearcat... A great man who not only led a brilliant wartime career but also never stopped contributing and working to help others for 70 years after that. 1
BMA_FlyingShark Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 I second that. Thanks for sharing. RIP Mister Brown. ~S~
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Didn't know. Kinds sucks but what a life to celebrate.
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 The man was a Class Act... Thank you for posting Bearcat.
GrendelsDad Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) When I was growing up there was a big focus in my school on the Tuskegee Airmen. I was really blown away by all the individual stories these guys have shared over the years. Some were based out of the airbase here(Ohio) just after WWII when they shut Tuskegee down I believe.(?) Good brave men. Sorry to lose another hero to time. Edited July 6, 2016 by 6./ZG1_GrendelsDad
Mysticpuma Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Such a shame these men are leaving us all too frequently. The service for their country will never be forgotten. 1
