Lusekofte Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Why not? I agree about the Il-4 or the A20. I think the PE-8 would be a terrible choice, but all in all yes. The Russians should have at least another bomber. But that doesn't mean the Germans shouldn't get more planes... And if you want to stay away from more versions of the same aircraft (Which i'm ok with btw) there are not that many choices left on the eastern front. No bombers, no fighters. Mostly attack aircraft like the Henschels. So for the sake of diversity the IAR would be great. Grt M I did not say I would not have it, just right now I feel a Russian bomber is due. Another thing is, too many fighters make dogfight servers, what we need is war game servers with a bit of tactical flying. But it looks like we agree on that point 1
JG13_opcode Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Well. That's lame. I think they tried to avoid the same problem with CLOD where people whined about the lack of their favourite plane.
Jaws2002 Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 I think they tried to avoid the same problem with CLOD where people whined about the lack of their favourite plane. Bull$hit. This team never cared about introducing planes in a historical context. Just look at ROF. Start with the planes that will draw the most players and then just throw random planes in there. You had to wait two years to have planes for a historical match-up. Same in BOS. They decide on Stalingrad and then just threw in the popular planes to draw the most players. Linking CLOD to this is laughable.

And which are those planes that don't match stalingrad theatre except FW190 ? 1
serbanescu Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Consider IAR-80/81, please! Historical facts require this fighter for its constant presence on the Eastern front.
Dutchvdm Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Looking at all the planes together the Moscow set is quite thin. This off course comes from the fact that there are almost no planes from the other two scenarys that can be re-used. I know there is no time for this but an early planeset expansion would be cool. - Ju-87 B/R - Hs-123 - Yak-1 1941 - Lagg-3 1941 - SB Anyone agree? Grt M 1
Feathered_IV Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Fw-189 would be a good one to have. The Storch would have some great gameplay potential too. 1
LittleJP Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 One more for the IAR 80/81. Add in the Hurriplane, P-39 and the Spit for more lendlease goodness
GOA_Walter_Nowotny Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 (edited) My vote is for Luftwaffe: Messerschmitt 410 A-1 / 410 B2 Focke Wulf Ta-152H Focke Wulf 190 D12 And for VVS: Lavochkin La7 Petliakov Pe8 Edited September 26, 2016 by FACH-Nowotny-
Dutchvdm Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 My vote is for Luftwaffe: Messerschmitt 410 A-1 / 410 B2 Focke Wulf Ta-152H Focke Wulf 190 D12 And for VVS: Lavochkin La7 Petliakov Pe8 Although very cool aircraft, all of them would add nothing to the current and upcoming scenario's. They would be quiet useless in that regard. Grt M

Still, for stuff out of timeframe, the P47 as a lend lease on the Soviet side would be pretty interesting.
JG4_dingsda Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Fw-189 would be a good one to have. The Storch would have some great gameplay potential too. Any of these two would make me happy.
Lusekofte Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 In my opinion we progress too fast and are going to loose some very interesting planes SU 2 IL 4 is also probably a lost case. HS 126V1 There are really many charming aircraft we will miss out on by progressing too fast in history 2

HS 126V1 There are really many charming aircraft we will miss out on by progressing too fast in history Nice ones. I like the 126, but in terms of usability i'm struggling to find them useful in the current sim. Maybe if they implement ROF like arty spotting or recon then i'm on board. I would even change the HS-123 for the 126 then. Grt M
SvAF/F19_Klunk Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Nobody posted this yet??? I adore her 1
Danziger Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 There was someone offering to donate his 3d model for I153 wasn't there?
BlitzPig_EL Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Flyable biplanes? Yes please. The more, the merrier. 1
Ace_Pilto Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 The Chaika would make a great Xmas present. *wink wink nudge nudge*
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I think it will come someday. I mean they did make a Documentary about it.

Asgar Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) just sayin'...... https://postimg.org/image/mxt1yc06t/ I wouldn't mind. I'm waiting for years to fly this beauty in a sim (It was used over Veliki Luki btw. KG1 IIRC) Edited September 27, 2016 by 6./ZG26_Asgar
