I have a replica version of #3.

Posted

I have the Tutima (Fliegerchronograph 1941) for an year now and it is really the nicest german "original stye" watch you can get!

Was lucky to get one with the "old price". Think the price went up around 500€-600€ compared to the old price.

Cheers

this is my baby, a genuine Luftwaffe issue Hanhart chronograph. This one has the flyback function, which is really neat, and keeps time better than my Omega Speedmaster Professional!

and I also have a Junghans cockpit clock

Krupi, does your cockpit clock have a rear data plate?

Yes..

It has TN+SY on the back so it might have come from a Siebel Si 204, that is of course assuming it has the original back plate.

The details on the data plate read...

Borduhr

gebr junghans

Gerat- Nr 127-553A

Werk-Nr 031974

Anforderz F?23865

At least it looks too... If you could find out for sure that would be incredible!

you might know this website already, but if you don't have a look here http://www.cockpitclock.com/JUNGHANS.html

the ? is an underscore L, "Fl." was the part number.

I think it's an extra nice piece because there's an element of traceability to it, cool stuff mate :-)

Yes, that was a great site for research when I was trying to find some details on the clock :)

uh and btw, TN + ST was the personal plane of Hermann Goering himself! So it wouldn't surprise me if TN+SY was used for some other high profile people.. your clock's value is skyrocketing by the minute!

I was just thinking that :) now if only I could find some information on the history of TN + SY... Knowing my luck it was probably used to ferry spuds

hahaha well I had a look at the LEMB database and found this, don't know if it's of any help (TN+SY is not there, but by looking at the other ID codes, they all look as part of the same batch)

I heard that Tutima and Hanhart supplied fighter pilot watch and Laco supplied watches for navigators and bombers pilots. Could u confirm if this is correct?

If im to buy a Luftwaffe watch, id like to buy a fighter pilot watch so... (also, i only ride fighter planes in flight sim)

Thank u
