wastel Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I have the Tutima (Fliegerchronograph 1941) for an year now and it is really the nicest german "original stye" watch you can get! Was lucky to get one with the "old price". Think the price went up around 500€-600€ compared to the old price. Cheers Wastel
ITAF_Rani Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 Add picture if possible.... My wife gave me for my birthday a hamilton kaky pioneer....looks like the hanhart.... Nice watch IMO... Salute
Krupi Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) I have this... For when I finally get my ass in gear and assemble this... Edited December 9, 2013 by Krupi
Sternjaeger Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) this is my baby, a genuine Luftwaffe issue Hanhart chronograph. This one has the flyback function, which is really neat, and keeps time better than my Omega Speedmaster Professional! and I also have a Junghans cockpit clock Krupi, does your cockpit clock have a rear data plate? Edited December 9, 2013 by Sternjaeger 2
Krupi Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Yes.. It has TN+SY on the back so it might have come from a Siebel Si 204, that is of course assuming it has the original back plate. The details on the data plate read... Borduhr gebr junghans Gerat- Nr 127-553A Werk-Nr 031974 Anforderz F?23865 At least it looks too... If you could find out for sure that would be incredible! Sternjaeger Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 you might know this website already, but if you don't have a look here http://www.cockpitclock.com/JUNGHANS.html the ? is an underscore L, "Fl." was the part number. I think it's an extra nice piece because there's an element of traceability to it, cool stuff mate :-)
Krupi Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Yes, that was a great site for research when I was trying to find some details on the clock
Sternjaeger Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I was looking for TN + SY, and I found this http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?p=173365 whilst it's not the exact aircraft, it's part of the same squadron :-)
Sternjaeger Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) uh and btw, TN + ST was the personal plane of Hermann Goering himself! So it wouldn't surprise me if TN+SY was used for some other high profile people.. your clock's value is skyrocketing by the minute! Edited December 9, 2013 by Sternjaeger
Krupi Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) I was just thinking that now if only I could find some information on the history of TN + SY... Knowing my luck it was probably used to ferry spuds Edited December 9, 2013 by Krupi
Sternjaeger Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) hahaha well I had a look at the LEMB database and found this, don't know if it's of any help (TN+SY is not there, but by looking at the other ID codes, they all look as part of the same batch) TN+SB Siebel Si204 D F0134 TN+SJ Siebel Si204 D-1 Weflug Munchen Wetterflugstelle Berlin B0332 TN+SK Siebel Si204 F0193 TN+SR Siebel Si204 D WNr.321224 WNr.321224 FFS B 36 M0002/42 TN+SS Siebel Si204 F0072 TN+SU Siebel Si204 D-1 Neuruppin Wetterflugstelle Berlin B0332 TN+SV Siebel Si204 W0001 F0235 Edited December 9, 2013 by Sternjaeger
