Campaign crashes and micro stutering

Hello. Even thou my joystick is not with me, I decided to start my campaign in BOS/BOM. I can play missions, quick battles and "normal campaign" fine. But the character campaign always crashes while loading the mission. Furthermore, I used to have random flickering that disappeared once I disabled full screen (so now I am playing windowed full screen) however, now I get micro stutters. Do you guys know the most likely graphical option that is causing this?

 

My specs are:

I7-6700K

16 GB DDR4

GTX 980 ti

Running game from my normal 7200rpm HD and not SSD.

Scratch the campaign problem. I was able to start it. I just have the micro stutter problem now.

Thanks for the reply. I finally manages to track down the micro stuttering. It was my GPU crashing... The problem was the power management system that was taking power away from the pci-e connection. Bloody power management...

 

Regarding the crashes, they seem to happen if I am playing campaign and switch to mission. Today I began a campaign with PWCG and the first couple of tries the game crashed (I had been playing the campaign). That PWCG tool is a game changer...
