Can I buy the premium planes via steam and still use them with my non-steam version of BoS?

Hello everyone!

 

Because of the 50% off discount for the premium planes I decided that that would be the perfect opportunity to finally get them. Can I get the planes via Steam and still somehow activate them for my account which owns the non-steam version of BoS? I currently have no way to use my credit card for online transactions so a steam gift card would be the only way for me.

Unfortunately not possible as far as I know. That being said, look out for non-Steam sales, they show up often enough

I have non steam version of il2 merged with steam, fw190 bought on website and la5 via steam, i would think it would be no problem, but dont take my word for it

 

Edit: Actually as i now recall la5 bought via steam still needed activation on website so im now quite sure should work
