Just got this version of BOS - IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad (Start Edition), is this the same as Standard version eventually, i only have 2 planes unlocked, does this mean there is no way of my unlocking the other 6 planes that are in the standard version ? also does the start version still have the full campaign and full map etc ? thx

Hi, GMZ Gamez Ville on ebay ?(well someone i know bought it, and did not want it in the end, so i got it off him) they have 11220 feedback, are you saying this is not legit then, as it activated ok on client ? if its not i will ask for a refund, i have since done some googling, and there was a starter version with just 2 planes, is there not a way i can upgrade this version then, is this like a trial/demo version ? or do i have to buy the standard version to get all 8 planes.

All the content is included in this version, the only difference is that you need to play through the campaign to make the other six aircraft available.

Yeh i did not think the game i was getting was just the starter pack, will look at now getting the standard edition on steam or from this website, cheers

Wow, $6,76 this is much cheaper than the -50% offical sale here and on steam.

 

You can play the Campaign to unlock all planes or you buy the both Premium Planes La-5 and the Fw-190 to unlock all planes at once.

Yeh but steam version is 8 planes from start, this is just 2 planes, had i known i would have just got steam version or from here from start, as i only play online really, and cant put the 5 hour time in per plane to unlock all, if i buy the La-5 and FW-190 now, does that unlock all skins/guns as well.

You can upgrade the Starter Edition to Premium you just need the both Premium planes. A unlock button appear where you can unlock the planes and each plane loadout but the plane skins only stay locked. If the Starter Edition is a Steam Version you need to buy the both planes there if not you need to buy this both planes here.

 

Your big problem is that you not like spend time to unlock. The $6,76 is very well worth the money you get 2 planes now and the other 6 planes for free if you spend the time to unlock them. Take not that much time if you known how......

 

The most funny part the Devs told us "These is going to be a limited edition for 500 RUR in Russia". A Limited edition + only for the Russian Market = a big .

Dam, well waste of time getting the starter edition then, thats why it was cheap i guess.

Sellers like this on eBay are not official merchants and frequently sell keys gotten by credit card fraud. When we discover such keys have been essentially stolen we delete them and the account is rendered unusable. We have not released the starter edition in the West so there is a chance your key was gotten through fraud.
