My Rig and SSAO?

I was wondering with my rigs specs (check below my signature) is it worth turning the SSAO off in game?

 

A new rig might still be further down the track.

 

Thoughts would be appreciated

I always turn it off just 'cause I don't like the way it looks with it on, but it may just be personal preference.  I'd suggest that you just turn it off for a while and see if you like it better (or it works better) with or without it - you can always just turn it back on if turning it off doesn't do anything for you.

No, because its implementation is ugly. Both technically and aesthetically.

I´d say just turn it off - it doesn´t look that good.

Not sure on the performance impact in BoS though - just try it out.

SSAO looks good on the cockpit shadows, the HDR is what makes the Gama higher.

SSAO takes 10-15 fps off...not worth it for me. It does however make the cockpit shadows look nice just not worth the fps loss.

Yeah I have turned SSAO  and HDR off as well.  Looks a lot better to my eyes.

 

Not sure if it makes any difference with HDR, but my monitor is calibrated by Spyder software for photo editing.
