SCG_motoadve Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 FPS are good but micro sttuters are annoying, I think radio calls are causing them. I lowered the sound bits and no improvement. Any ideas Window 7 Nvidia GTX 980 I7 4770 16GB RAM
Urra Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Try to set prerendered frames to 1. (There are two settings in nvidia control panel, ignore the one for vr.) Try to turn off transparency aliasing also, i think it's not needed in the game.
Jade_Monkey Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 I'll test this as well. I have pretty high end PC and the game is not nearly as smooth as I would like. The 64 bit helped though.
Urra Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Also, I have started program (exe file) for the last few months from the folder directly without splash screen, this helps as well.

Any ideas Window 7 Nvidia GTX 980 I7 4770 16GB RAM Hi, I have similar rig as you and after 64bit update my stutters are almost gone. Before the 64bit update it was terrible. I have fullscreen unchecked and vsync on with locked frames to 60.
SCG_motoadve Posted June 24, 2016 Author Posted June 24, 2016 Also, I have started program (exe file) for the last few months from the folder directly without splash screen, this helps as well. Did everything as adviced and did not helped. Just did what roaming sugested and perfect now, no stutters at all, very smooth,as soon as I saw how the mouse moved in the menu I knew it was a big difference. Now why does this happens?

There may be a background process, possibly with the launcher, that causes a momentary pause or even a bottleneck somewhere in the system. Windows 7 has good memory management but it has some glitches that I've run into over the years too (svchost.exe runaway memory leak anyone?). Do you guys have "Seed when downloaded" checked or unchecked? A shot in the dark theory could be that its the launcher + network stack that may be causing a hang.

To be honest I'm not sure, except that it's also probably linked to the company server also.
kileab Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Try in full Window mode, on my rig it runs better than in fullscreen.

71st_AH_Mastiff Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 oh and for some people like my self, if you start to get those micro-stuters and they keep getting worse, that's your Hard drive going out, or the AHCI controller.
