After the mission had ended on saturday morning I was not able to process the txt-log files for the stats because of the folder being corrupted and unaccesible. The event viewer reported file structure corruption. This may have been caused by running the del command in order to delete the log files of the entire last to weeks.

Last night we managed to fix it via chkdsk and we got access to the log files again.

 

It may be possible that this file structure corruption is the reason for a delay between the server and the clients representation of the action going on.

 

Perhaps something for the devs to look at.

 

But if the file corruption was the main issue then I would expect other players to have same kind of issue. When looking to others stats I find nothing unusual but when looking at BladeBender's...

On the encounter shown he is ditched when he shot's Fahrenheit down with a single bullet.

Moreover, on the next sortie he shoots Tomcat with 3 hits BUT without firing ANY bullet according to the stats!

 

I would place a coin on a client or network issue from Bladebender's side. Any stat on his ping?

 

Anyway I'll file the bug report witth Fahrenheit's files and address of the il2stat page.

that the AI damage is not showing on the bomber side but on the attackers stat is not uncommon regardless off server. 

 

In my replay so could i see a yak going thru my wing and hear bullets hitting my plane with out any damage is recorded for any plane involved.

And did any one get the kill for the monstertrain?  can see that all Hs129  inflicting alot of damage on it but not any one with the kill :)

On the first sortie airdoc destroyed some of the cars and I got the locomotive.

 

Regarding the video I think that is just the technological limitations of online play. There are huge discussion about hit registering client or serverside on first person shooter forums. Things like this happen when there is a lot of stuff going on and the participants have a big difference in server ping.

 

Damage adds up in this sim and the fatal results sometimes show later. When the He 129 attacked the tanks on their first sortie theT34s were killed by different pilots doing multiple runs.

That was my point. Anyway it's a bug and a serious one, we have to help the devs sort those kind of bugs that are only showing "in field" and not in lab test.

I think chances are pretty high you get hit when attacking a bomber formation from high six 'o clock.  It just was not displayed.

No worries about the English, please! I had a full (bomb) load of fun with you, thanks - any time again! Formation flying went well and I hope we get those hangars of the first sortie recorded with the statistic results!

No importance. We do not fly just to fulfill our objectives but especially to have the pleasure of flying with friendly people, drop our bombs and come back alive!

All objects on a target are not necessarily taken into account in the stats (it would require too much resources). It's sometimes frustrating but it's known to all of us.
So we will have the pleasure to return to this goal!

Golgoth did a very good job, no question. He's flying 85 - 90 % performance - fast with smooth movements. No problem for expierenced pilots, for beginners it might become a bit exhausting.

I don't care much about stats because I earn my fun the way you describe it above. But looking at the discussions stats are of some importance. a) useful to find possible bugs and b) to motivate within a competion. If a (friendly) competition enhances the fun for some pilots it's fine with me. Anyhow, look at this:

Two hangars with 4 x 250 kg is fine, can't expect more with the weak bomb-load of the Pe-2.

 

 

PS: most important for a peaceful flight the Messer-boys never saw us so there was no need to kill them.

Es gibt eine mission zum Nachtisch am Donnerstag, und Shopping am Freitag fällt aus wegen Bombenalarm. Das gilt für die Amis. Für uns ist es jeweils abends um 9.

 

Thanksgiving Night ist Donnerstag abend US Zeit.

Atlan Es gibt keine Mission am Donnerstag um 9 Uhr abends deutsche Zeit, nur Freitag morgens um 2 und 4 und dann Freitag abends um 6 und 9.

Can I reserve 3 IL 2 slots for IL 2 mission 2 at 20:00. I am sure they will be filled up. Usually Retnek and Pod is a little late signing in.

Retnek might choose PE 2 for all I know. But Cat or Nocke can take the slot if that is the case. I am one of the 3

Ich hab mich vertan. Keine Mission in D um 21 Uhr am Donnerstag. Sondern Freitags um 2, 5, 18 und 21 Uhr. Am Sonntag hatte ich Tip so verstanden, daß Do und Freitag abends eine FNBN Mission geplant seien. "Turkey Nap" hatte ich für Donnerstag Nachmittag US Zeit gehalten.
