Tip,

Glad to hear you personally were spared the worst from Harvey, but I know it's been very rough all the same seeing your neighbors & friends suffer.  Have several friends & family down there who've been affected to one degree or another including 2 families that lost everything.  It's been inspiring to see how everyone has handled this disaster with class and grit.  Recovery will be a long haul and I expect to be down there pitching in over the coming months.

Hang in there; we'll keep the prayers, supplies and money coming when we can't be there personally.

I flew the HS 129, mostly just sightseeing,I can do that all night long. Why use them noisy guns in that environment

Hmm @Eskimobaby I was peacefully finding out that the plane had Boost when you came and blew both engines with boost to pieces.  I really like the HS 129 , hopeless to see enemy from behind, but once you do, it performes well in many ways except speed. 

I will consider deserting to DBS on occations for HS 129 duties

My lasting impression is that the HS 129 makes a fine target drone. (To be fair, everything I fly becomes a target drone)

That was me! It's quite an agressive act to damage a musicians plane who is just cruising around looking for some inspiriation. There's always a danger those musicians will make a song out of that and you will be cited in disgrace over centuries! Kuban map large. Hs129 slow. We could of sang some songs and popped the top on a couple of cold ones to the target area which btw was only 4 clicks out.

And we thought the Stuka was slow.

So many have lost everything.  

Frankly its hard to get a handle on the magnitude of the damage across the city and the state to be honest. Plenty of work left for the foreseeable future and beyond for that matter.

We are tuned on CNN  and follow Irma, our thoughts are with you . It is a terrible thing risking everything you own, I am happy you choose to save your life

Reason for not joining you or my own squad was the time schedule for the night I had only 1 hour available to fly, so I stuck on 216 TS and did not interact with what they said or did, I even heard Cats plan to go to the airfield I was taken off from and basically was a sitting duck when they did. I had a free flight experience in Kuban map separated from the rest, and it was fine
